Hi,

I want to make seat reservations for TGV from Nice to Paris and Paris to Zürich, I am travelling on 7. July.

I have a EURRAIL Pass and my questions are

What is the earliest I can make the reservation?

Thanks and Regards,

Horst

Hi @hbs

Probably from March 12th. Make the reservations on raileurope.com to avoid the Eurail fees.

Regards

Danhiel

Thanks Daniel,

I might check too than the Austrian OBB one. I found with my last year travel, that my ICE seat reservation bookings in Germany, Czech and Hungary  where cheaper with OBB than DB or Czech Railway.

Regards,

Horst

@hbs

I don’t think that TGV reservations are available on oebb.at and the price are always the same, from 10 to 20 € in France and from 30 to 39 € in the TGV Lyria from Paris to Zürich.

Check this page for ticket sales: https://www.sncf-connect.com/aide/l-ouverture-des-ventes

SNCF reservations are indeed on the expensive side. To save a bit of money you can take any TGV from Paris to Strasbourg or Mulhouse (10-20€) and then cross the border by TER. It takes max 30 min longer
