Reservation Bordeaux - Madrid ''reservation unavailable''

Simone Silvestri

I’m planning to make a trip from Italy to France and from France to Spain. One day of travel is giving me problem, moving from Bordeaux to Madrid. The Rail Planner notifies the need for reservation, but it seem that all the reservation seats are unavaible. The problem is that there is no alternative and going with regional train needs something like 38 hours and a radical change of the itinery. Can someone help for the reservation or suggest alternatives? Thanks

On which day? The planner probably routes you via Barcelona but that is the long way around.

Try looking for Bordeaux to Hendaye and then Irún to Madrid. Use Euskotren in between (runs every 30 minutes).

Maybe you could call SNCF to book your tickets https://www.sncf.com/en/customer-service/contact-us/telephone
