Edinburgh to Europe -inbound/outbound taking multiple trips on same day

Hi I am trying to work out whether it is worth buying an internal pass

Like many others I am confused by the inbound outbound rule

can I travel by train from Edinburgh to London and then take a Eurostar if it is on the same day, and can I take the Eurostar and then the train back to Edinburgh if it is on the same day?

Many thanks for your responses.

Hi thanks for this it is much clear. The only thing that is not entirely clear is whether St Pancras International as the Main Eurostar terminal counts as

“the border or an airport or port.”

I assume so, but it doesn’t exactly make that clear.

thoughts?

Thanks

Danny

the border is the Channel Tunnel. Eurostar drives via Channel Tunnel to France (you get over the border).

OK that is clear. So I need to ensure that my various trains including the Eurostar reach the border by the end of a travel day.

Thanks everyone
