Paper reservation ticket in Norway. Any alternatives?

Michael Bond

Hi,

Im going to be travelling to Norway next week and am trying to book out overnight trains down to Oslo, but whilst I have a mobile pass, it only allows me to get a paper ticket. It won’t arrive in the UK before I go and don’t want to get it sent to Norway.

Is there anyway of getting it sent to the ticket office? Or being able to book it when I get to the station? I don’t want to get stranded if I can’t do the latter.

Any advice or solution would be most appreciated!

Thanks in advance!

The pass and reservations are completely separate. You can have a mobile pass and buy paper reservations and also have a paper pass and buy electronic reservations. In addition, there's no obligation to buy your reservations from the Interrail website (which has extra fees).

As to Norway, the best is to contact Entur directly, see:

(Scroll down to Norway.)
