how can I know if I need a reservation with DB?

I would like to take a train from Aachen to Horrem with DB (bus 913, replacement bus) but in interrail app information about seat booking is not available. I check in DB site but i don't understand if I have to make a reservation or not, I can only pay the entire ticket. Is it cause by the signature of replacement bus? If so, how can I do?

You can’t book reservations so yes, just add the trip to your pass and get on the bus.

It is a regional service so even if trains were running there would be no reservations available.

Reservations are not compulsory on DB trains and replacement buses rarely if ever have reservations available.
