+1Im planning to travel 19 May
Part of the journey is between Milan and Lugano. I was looking yesterday trying to decide on the best route, and the whole journey from Milan to Basel was €6.
Ive come to book it today and it states there is no service available.
Can anyone help and advise how I can resolve this please?

This is a regional train. Seat reservations not possible. Simply show up 10 min before departure, go to the front of the train (plenty of seats) and enjoy! :)
Seat reservations are not a thing on Swiss trains. Hop on, sit wherever you wish.

There's so much to learn. Im sure that once Im back home after my trip, I will roll my eyes at how unknowledgeable I am just now....
