Dear Eurail Community,
We are two adults and two kids planning our trip from Switzerland to Italy. We intend to use trains with the Eurail 7-day 1st class pass that we purchased during the last sale. One option we are considering is taking the sleeper train from Milan to Naples and booking one compartment. I checked the rail planner for our intended travel day, November 11th, and saw that the compartment costs €43, which I assume is for one person. However, when I attempted to make a reservation, I on’t see any option to reserve seets in compartment or may the code CC-PROMISCUO is for compartment? Cost view it seems to be alighned with rail planner results.

A couchette is €41 per person and Eurail adds a €2 booking fee per person and train. “CC-PROMISCUO” is a mixed-gender couchette.

If you want a couchette for all 4 of you, then it's cheaper to book on www.raileurope.com. Use "Add rail pass” and pay in euros (other currencies are up to 5% more expensive). By default, seats will be pre-selected, so you need to change that to 4-berth couchettes.
