Reservations night train between Munich and Venice

I want to take a night train from Munich to Venezia.

It leaves at 23pm and arrives 8am next day, so I would need to take this one because of the way I’m managing my travel days. 
However, when I try to purchase the seat reservation it shows me an information like in the picture below.

once I cannot buy the ticket, I was wondering if I could just take the train without seat reservation, once I have no other way to make this trip

No, for the nightjet sleeper you do need a reservation. Best place to buy these is through oebb.at. Follow the instructions given here: 

Most notably, don't click on "seat reservation only" but instead head as if buying a ticket but indicate "Interrail/Eurail global pass" as a discount card in the passenger details

The travel date would also be helpful.
