Reservations only available online for one leg of the trip

Rachel Horan

I’m planning on taking a night train from Paris to Narbonne the night of July 5th. I’m able to reserve my seat online but for the second part of my trip, Narbonne to Madrid (the next morning), I am unable to make a reservation. I know that’s how it is for most Spanish trains. But what happens if I pay for the reservation from Paris to Narbonne and there’s no seats on the Narbonne to Madrid train. And how would I book that second seat reservation ahead of time?

The best way to make reservations for French trains is to call SNCF. No need of Pass Cover Number.

And be glad that you got this message as for INTern FR-ES REServ are sent out as paper which takes weeks. And surprise-surprise-IF you are already in FR now-visit a counter of SNCF: those are the people who work for the railways selling tickets etc.

IF it deems not possible-de the search for the much cheaper and slower ALTern: local train TER till Post BOU=1st stop in ES, change to rodalies to Barca, then hourly AVE to MAd.
