Hello,

First post here -- thank you for giving information to help make good decisions :)

We’re family of 4 planning trip on NH467 Nightjet train, sleeper cabin from Zurich to Vienna on July 12 -- (2 sleeper Double plus cabins).

Questions:

  1. When does OBB open seat reservations?
  2. Right now OBB has Compartment for 2 passengers (Double plus) Non-Flex for $784. how much would it cost with Global Pass (2 adults, 2 youths)?

Appreciate your help! :)

Reservations are already open. That’s why you’re seeing cash prices.

For Interrail/ Eurail reservations, use the ÖBB site but where it says ‘1 adult without discounts’, change to add the Interrail discount. Don’t tick the ‘seat reservation only’ box.

The price for 4 people in 2 double sleepers is currently €376. (Prices are variable)

Thank you very much, ralderton!  I have not purchased Global pass yet, waiting to see if there will be discounts closer to spring :)

Subscribe to the Eurail newsletter to be informed. There might be discounted passes in March, but only Eurail know what they going to do.

Do book your sleeper compartments though. Prices will probably go up.

You can buy the sleeper reservations before you buy the passes.

Thank you, Anna! I didn’t realize that I can do that!  So, I will indicate “discount” when I book OBB tickets (to get better price) and add that reservation to the pass in the app later?

You can't add reservations to the pass. Pass and reservations are completely separate.
