Corona restrictions Scandinavia

davidterhaar

Hi, I saw that there are still some restrictions when traveling through certain countries such as Norway or Finland, like taking a test 72 hours before. Do these still apply when traveling with the train? Thank you, David

In most cases, the same rules apply also for train passengers.

You will probably arrive in Finland by ferry, car or on foot. Here is a link to a page about current regulations:

In SOME=not all countries these rules are lowered for those in TRANSIT=means they travel across or stay less as 24/48 hrs. But for FI that seems a hard thing to do, except for air-transit. Quite another thing is how these will be enforced, but again in FI you cannot escape border checks. Very often (f.e. before you board a ferry or plane) this will already be checked before boarding-to prevent that company of having you to bring back
