trains in march

hi guys,

i want to travel in eastern europe in march and want to start in germany and go to greece and romania. So I alreaday saw a train from germany to croatia which i will need for an extra stop before going to greece (thessaloniki). But although it is indicated on the europe railway map I can’t find a train from croatia (zagreb) to greece (thessaloniki). I have the same problem if i want to go from thessaloniki to romania (bucarest). do I need an extra stop in between those destinations or are the timetables still not out yet? I am thankful for any help.

Es gibt zwei Optionen:

Mit der Fähre von Italien (Ancona, Bari, Venedig) nach Patras und dann nach Athen. Das ist wohl die von den meisten bevorzugte Route.

Oder auf dem Weg nach Thessaloniki ein Stück auf den Bus ausweichen. Aber auf dem direkten Weg durch Serbien geht es per Zug auch nicht. Via Craiova oder Bukarest nach Sofia ginge. Es gibt zwar von Sofia einen Zug bis auf die bulgarische Seite der Grenze, aber dann kommt man kaum sinnvoll weiter. Dann besser gleich durchgehend von Sofia per Bus.

There are also NO trains over border to and from Serbije anf ditto Macedonia-that is how once the Gastarbeiter D-Zuege gingen ab F-M bis nach dort.

Das Leute 2x Faehre nutzen wurden scheint mir ein wenig viel-und das kommt auch bestimmt sehr viel teuerer als bloss ein Stuck im Bus.
