So my question is, I have a 5 day pass, I am traveling from Netherlands to Luxembourg, I am deciding I will stay 1-2 days there, will my 5 day pass go down when I stay at a certain place?

You have 1 month from the first day of use in which you can select any 4 additional days to use for travel.

read the guides to familiarise yourself with how the pass works.

Thank you for the fast response, so to be clear.

For example if I decide to travel on 27 May, I can later add another train trip on 30 May, and after that another on 1 June, then 3 June, and last one to get back home on 6 June.

So I can travel 5 different days (doesn't) have to be within the 5 days after the first activation?

Yes.

If you activate the first day on May 27 you then can select any other 4 days you like until June 26.
