Hello! I am planning a trip for this summer. I already bought the pass from eurail but now i want to add journeys and make the seat reservations for one of them, but i am so confused. I’m scared to activate my pass before I’m supposed to and don’t really know how I can reserve seats without having my pass activated.
Plus, if I want to start traveling in august am I supposed to activate my pass now?

You should never activate your pass before you see the first train of your travel entering the station on the first day of your trip.
An active pass is not needed to make reservations.
