My 4-days/1 month pass has to be activated by 3rd June to be valid for the last possible month. It doesn't matter, if I start it on the 7th, my first travel day, if my trip is only one week, not the whole month. Am I correct in my assumption?

Indeed, you can activate your pass and choose a start date 3 June, but only start your trip later. You can still use your pass until 2 July.

Thank you for your quick reply. I was actually thinking of starting it on the 1st planned travel day, meaning on the 7th June, just in case... But it probably doesn't matter.

It doesn't matter when you travel, as long as it is within the validity period. Just keep in mind that you need to do the complete activation procedure no later than 3 June, and the latest start date you can choose will also be 3 June.
