Hello, Im trying to buy a ticket from Munich to Prague but there is no seat reservation. I can only see a warning message “Reservation temporarily unavailable”. So is it normal? I don’t know it is okay to take a train without seat reservation. I should take a train with my family , and they have each suitcase. I’m afraid that we should move frequently whenever a person who has reserved a seat arrives. Is there a no reservation function at all? Can anyone who came first take a seat?

This train does not have seat reservations. Those trains can be busy so show early and sit wherever you want. As you said it works in a first come first served basis.
You can book reservations from Domazlice (1st station in Czechia) or sometimes Schwandorf from 30 days in advance. Check on tickets.oebb.at or cd.cz.
