Hello trying to book a reserved seat. Need to do it at the station and no one understands the Eurail pass. I am in Bulgaria.

Where in Bulgaria are you? I would think the ticket office or International ticket office in Sofia would be used to Interrail passengers.
You can also try just asking for a Reservacija (Резервация) - don't mention Eurail in case that confuses them. It's the same reservation that a normal ticket holder would buy.

+8It might help to print out or write down the train number, departure time/ date and route on a piece of paper in Bulgarian script, along with резервация на място.
Only mention Eurail if they ask to see your ticket, and then make sure you have the train added to your pass to show them.
