Hi,

I want to book a train from Brussels (Bruxelles-Midi) to Amsterdam on the 19th of Dec between 7:00 and 9:00 latest, with our Eurail Global pass. However there is a massive charge of €320.00 for the direct 7:53 train, for 2 adults & 2 youths.

Kindly assist, how can I reserve our seats without such a charge, do I need to first stop elsewhere?

Thank you

That price will be for normal tickets. The 7:53 does not have pass holder seats anymore. The 8:53 still does, but only ion 1st class. Price is €27 per person.

However, there are reservation-free trains each hour at xx:49 to Amsterdam Zuid. From there, you can get to the city centre by metro, or you can change at Schiphol airport to another train to Amsterdam Centraal.
