Good evening rail community

I am planning to travel from Budapest to Bratislava on Sunday 19 October

In the process I want to tick off another country visited so I thought it may be fun to make a very quick stopover in Bratislava

The 08:12 to 10:44 trip from Budapest to Bratislava (Hlavna Stanica station) looks fine.

Then will probably move on to Prague from Bratislava 12:26 to 16:39 (Regiojet) or the 13:58 to 18:18 (Metropolitan). What would you recommend between these two choices?

Then I also need recommendations for the the short stayover.  Will probably want to keep onto my suitcase here.  Or is there left luggage storage available)?

Also would you recommend reserving seats with  first class pass?

Thanks!

In Slovakia, reservations are mandatory in 1st class. You can book on https://predaj.zssk.sk/search for €3 with seat selection. On Regiojet, reservation are also mandatory (book on regiojet.com).
