Can I travel only inside my home country for a day?

Hi,

I have a 4 day pass. One of these days is used for the outbound and then 2 days travelling outside my home country. Can I use the last day to only travel inside my home country (so leave from a city that’s in my home country and only take trains inside my home country)?
