Hello!

Currently traveling from Sweden to my home country France. As I didn’t start from France I didn’t use my outbound and so would like to use my outbound/inbound as 2 inbound (and 0 outbound) to travel one extra day in France.

I have a 4 day ticket. My plan is to arrive from Germany to France (Strasbourg) on day 3. And go from Strasbourg to Lyon on day 4. Would that journey work?

Thank you for the support

Yes this works. The inbound/outbound can happen at any time and be used as 2 inbounds.

However if you don't want to pay 17€ for a cross-border TGV/ICE you could take a regional train as far as Kehl and then either :

- buy a 4€ train ticket to Strasbourg

- buy a tram ticket to Strasbourg city center directly

Since you live in France you should be able to get domestic TGV reservations for free at any SNCF ticket counter (ask for a billet/parcours d'approche). But if you're not in France right now and need to arrive at a certain time I guess it's better to pay 12-22€.
