Changing journey during travel, having activated Interrail Global mobile flexi-pass

We are travelling very soon, passing through Germany, Slovenia and Austria.  All 4 travel days are activated because I know what journeys I want.  If there is an unexpected delay so we miss a connection, can I still remove journeys from an active day and change them to later ones with the same destination?  I would be very grateful for a prompt reply if possible.

It it not recommended to activate your pass or any travel day in advance. You may know what your plans are, but unexpected things can happen, and you can only cancel activation before validity starts. E.g. if you wake up ill, and would like to postpone your journey, then it will be too late to cancel activation.

Iff i understand what you meant to say, I think you can.

There are sliders next to the yourney where you can activate and deactivate the trip.

See below

So iff you mis a train, you deactivate the part and make add a new one for that day

Thanks for your super prompt reply! And if I'm just taking a later journey with the same origin and destination, could I get away with using that day's ticket (QR code) without making any changes in the app?

You must always have the train you travel with as an actived journey. It is not enough that you have the QRcode for the day. All trains that you travel with must show on the list under the QRcode.
