My wife and I have Eurail passes and want to make a journey in Cinque Terra. We are in La Spezia and want to return to La Spezia after a day in Cinque Terra. I can't figure out how with the Eurail app! It's my 1st time using it.

Trains run fairly frequently along the coast from La Spezia to the Cinque Terre towns. Stick to Regional trains if you're using Eurail, because the Intercity and Freccia require seat reservations and aren't any quicker.
Which bit of the app are you having problems with?
You should use other methods to plan your trip, search information in Google to find the best places to visit and search the timetables on Trenitalia website or app.
If you have a flexi pass, It could be cheaper to buy regular tickets and reserve travel days for longer journeys.
