When I try to book seats for St Pancras to Narbonne I found a very cheap seat but when I tried to pay the cost changes and increases. I also tried to book another seat on another train and that train has no seats available even though it was showing availability.
here are 2 screenshots of the 2 seats I have tried to book. Can I get an explanation as to why this is happening? Thank you

Ok thanks. The system seems set up to make it very stressful. I have paid for the pass and now I see there is no trains at the time I need in order to arrive Narbonne the same day I leave London. I have been researching this all week. If interrail is not the place to book tickets why do they advertise or indicate that it is? Why not put this link up as you have? This shows there’s no trains from London St Pancras to Paris in the morning of 10.8.26. Any suggestions? Thank you for your help.
I have looked at seat 61. I can’t find clear guidance on how to book from st Pancras to Paris and onto Narbonne on 10.8.26. I am being guided to Eurostar to pay £180 for the train I want. I have an interrail pass but this is not available on the Eurostar app. Please would someone give guidance to where I might obtain the seats I tried to book last night.
The pass is your ticket. You don't need to buy any other tickets for trains covered by the pass. You do need reservations for some trains, such as Eurostar.
You can buy pass reservations anywhere you like and this has always been the case. Interrail doesn't hide that. They show multiple options in the Rail Planner app and on their website. You can also check availability before buying a pass. The overview on Seat61 is just better because it proposes the best websites depending on country and train.
Eurostar is the only train service with limited pass holder seats and during summer they are very busy, which means pass holder seats can sell out several weeks in advance. On 10/8, the first train to Paris with availability is the 16:01 from London, which is indeed too late for reaching Narbonne the same day, but you could take the night train from Paris Austerlitz, arriving in Narbonne at 7:35 on 11/8.
Alternatively, you could book the 7:04 to Lille Europe, arriving there at 9:26. Then the 11:00 TGV to Lyon arriving 14:00 and the AVE from Lyon at 14:35 arriving in Narbonne at 17:18.

Rail Europe is a good place to book the trains I mentioned. Just remember to set currency to euro to avoid their 5% mark-up for other currencies. If it does find your trains in one go, then look for them separately.
