Hi all,

My partner and I just brought a 10 day eurail pass to start in june 15 th this year. I started to plan my journey and to my confusion when i looked at a journey from winterthur to wengen it says not in pass network ?? Also wengen to st gallen ??

I thought that this 10 day eurail pass covers switzerland ?? Am i now to find to my horror that this 10 pass may not cover all our journeys and we may be paying much much more.

Hoping this is not true

Thanks community

Lauterbrunnen - Wengen is 100% included. Wengen - Kleine Scheidegg is not.

Annoyingly Rail Planner/Eurail haven't found a way to show which bit is included and which bit isn't... so they'd rather show the full journey as not included.

Hi

You have to take a Mountaintrain from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen and that is not included in the network. A ticket is about 15CHF per person or you can walk from Lauterbrunnen to Wengen. Its about 3km, takes 2,5 hours and it has 480 meters of altitude.

For the swiss traintables check out sbb.ch

Thanks so much everyone

It appears with our whole trip this seems the only area that seems confusing.
