connecting a second pass to a duplicated trip

I have activated my partners pass on my phone and duplicated my trip. How do I connect the duplicated trip to his pass?

Cancel the activation and then, if I remember correctly, you can choose another trip to connect to the pass.

In addition, there's no need to activate your pass in advance.
