Hi.

Thank you for the answer.

I'm not quite sure, I know what alvia is?! Is it a train or a bus? Is half an hour change time usually enough? We ( my family and I) are going by interrail, and I guess we can't go by bus?

Best wishes Agnethe.

Indeed Alvia is a train type by RENFE (one of many). Once released, reservations will be available on Rail Europe (no booking fees).

30 min in Badajoz is plenty of time (I even bought lunch at a supermarket). The Alvia usually arrives on time, even if it left Madrid 10 min late in my case. Yesterday it was 52 min late in Badajoz (for some reason) and despite the delay, the Portuguese train waited for connections!

Alvia is a train.

Half an hour is enough in almost all stations. You didn't mention which one, but I guess it's Badajoz. That's a small station and half an hour is plenty of time.

Do you know what the rules are when it comes to interrail ticket. I can see that not all departs are available when you travel interrail. Do you know anything about it?
