Crossing NL-DE Border

I want to travel from Amsterdam to Munich using the Interrail Global Pass. I have 4 travel days in one month. I found a direct train on Deutsche Bahn (ICE 225), however, when I search this train in the Interrail planner I cannot find it. The part of the trip from the first border station in Germany (Oberhausen Hbf) to Munich is available in the app. I am a first time user of the interrail system, so maybe I misunderstand the system.

The planner does show other (less favourable) options to travel the same day from Amsterdam to Munich.

P.S. I have the same issue for the travels back from Munich to Amsterdam.

You can still use the train. It doesn’t matter whether or not it appears in Rail Planner.

You can add the train manually if necessary, or wait until closer to the time (I don’t know when your trip is) to see if appears.
