Hi,

I was delayed on Eurostar for almost 2 hours so I am entitled to compensation, but Eurostar say I must claim this from where I bought my ticket , ie Eurial.

How do I do this ?

Eurostar is only partly correct. You are entitled to compensation:

  1. On the pass from Eurail (€12 for at least 1 hour, €24 for at least 2 hours):
    https://www.eurail.com/en/help/delay-compensation
  2. On the pass reservation from Eurostar:
    https://www.eurostar.com/be-en/travel-info/service-information/claiming-compensation#Train-delayed
If you don't want a voucher, then use the "partial refund” form, which is 25% for at least 1 hour or 50% for at least 2 hours.
