in “how to use your pass” the website says that who’s travelling from an island, can obtain an airplane ticket to start the interrail from another country. well, how can i obtain that ticket?

I’m not sure I understand you correctly, but if you are asking if having an Interrail means that you can get a free flight, then I’m afraid the answer is no.

Can you link to the page you are referring to?

It’s likely that what is being referred to is the standard situation that you can start your trip from anywhere you like . . . if you fly there.  Or drive, or walk, or otherwise get there yourself.

For example - I am flying from Ireland to somewhere in Germany this weekend to take some trains with my pass.  I’m paying for my own flight though.

So, someone living on (for example) Ibiza cannot start their trip by train since there are no trains on Ibiza.  They must fly or get a boat to somewhere that does have trains.  That somewhere could be Barcelona, or Helsinki, or anywhere they want to start from.

But, again, they have to buy their own flight or ferry ticket.
