Hello! New here.

My family is traveling to Europe this July. My husband is coming home, July 21st, ahead of my son and I.

My question is: is there a DIRECT train from Florence to Rome FCO airport?

Thank you 💖

Yes the Leonardo Express is included with a First class pass, no additional ticket needed for him.

Hi Angelo!

Thank you.

So no more Direct trains from Florence to Rome FCO airport.

When he takes the train from Florence to Rome, he gets off at Termini Station and transfer to the Leonardo Express. We have a Eurail Global Pass (First Class), can he use that Global Pass on the Leonardo Express to FCO? Or does he need to purchase a separate ticket?

Thank you?

This page on Trenitalia claims that there are direct trains in summer, but I don’t see any in the current timetable. They might be added later.

Thank you.

I do hope as well. When I did the search, it showed there is direct train, but when I tried to book, it showed 1 change at Termini.

no trains anymore, they were not used much.

You can use Leonardo Express (only first class) from Roma Termini station or local trains from Roma Tiburtina.

Between Firenze Santa Maria Novella to Roma Termini or Tiburtina you can use Frecciarossa high-speed trains.
