Do I have to leave from my country of residence with the pass?

I am looking to travel via train later in the year and currently in the planning stages.

I am from the UK and looking to travel to Poland for an event. Due to the length of travel I’m wondering if it is possible to fly into somewhere in Europe and then start my railling journey or do I have to leave from my country of residence and plan in the long journeys?

You can travel however you want. There is no requirement to start or to finish in your country of residence. Also, travel on the pass doesn't need to be contiguous. You use regular ticket for short journeys, or other means of transport.
