Hi 😊 We want to travel to Argelés-sur-Mer and I wanted to ask the chat-gpt but it is not able to answer. We would like to know, how it is with interrail pass AND to take a little dog with us. Does the dog need a ticket? It is 7 kg and can fly with us in the aeroplane as “luggage”, how is it in the TGV and also in “normal” train? Thank you!

Each Railcompany have own rules and it differ from Company to Company sometimes small dogs are free, sometimes you need a child ticket for the dog or even a special dog ticket.

They’re good advice on taking pets here

It looks like it will cost €7 per train, whether the dog is in a carrier or not. I’m not sure how you can buy this dog ticket on its own, but I guess you can do it at a station.

You should be able to buy the pet ticket on its own on SNCF Connect, if that doesn’t work the station will
