Travelling Paris -Interlaken- Zurich- Lake Como-Venice-Sorrento.

After buying the Eurail global pass, do we go on the Eurail app and book individual tickets?

If it says reservation required… do we reserve and pay right then on the Eurail app itself?

Do we need to validate tickets at the train station or do anything else?

For overnight train from Venice to Sorrento, do they provide bedding or pillow/ blanket?

You can find a reservations guide here:

In Paris and Milan you have to scan the reservations to access the platforms. Otherwise no validation is required, but you must always add and activate the journeys in the Rail Planner app to get a ticket (QR code) before boarding the train, even if you have a reservation.

If you book a couchette or a sleeper on a night train, then pillow and blanker are provided.
