I’m trying to book Eurostar seat reservations back to UK for the end of our trip. We were hoping to come back from Brussels but there seems to be nothing available at all around the two weeks of 25/8/24.
Have all those interrail seats already gone or do we think they’ve not been released yet?

I've had a look at eurostar.com and indeed tickets haven't been released yet on 18 days around mid-August. This is likely due to works around Brussels.
All you can do is check back in a few weeks. :)

Do you think better to book seat reservation on alternative eg Lille instead, or do you think that they Brussels Eurostar will open up in a few weeks?

Eurostar bookings will be possible at some point. You're really very early and since nobody has been able to book yet on those dates, you will be able to book once reservations open.

If getting to Lille is within your plans you could book but as previous post it is highly unlikely that, once released, there will be no seats from Brussels.
