Hi all,

we are looking to book the Eurostar from London to Amsterdam as our outbound travel train out of the UK. We also need to get to London from the North. Can we book the travel from London - Amsterdam and the train to London separately or in one go?

If we go on the train planner it suggests the train in one go but we are worried about delays to London which will then make us miss the London Amsterdam train.

It doesn’t matter whether you search for the trains separately or together. You’re not ‘booking’ anything on Rail Planner. You’re just adding them to your Trip.

If you miss the Eurostar because of delays on the UK train, they will put you on the next available Eurostar at no cost.

You can purposely leave more time between the trains if you want to be more sure of getting your booked Eurostar (especially since the Amsterdam trains aren’t that frequent), but it’s not necessary.
