Getting to Gdansk and Baltic trains

We're travelling from London to the Baltics this July and have been booking seats as they become available. I've been struggling with the Amsterdam to Gdansk leg on july 21st. I booked the Amsterdam to Berlin bit when it released but Berlin to Gdansk originally looked like it was a direct train and from what i can make out it now looks like there will be several changes because of some sort of line disruptions. Am I missing sth? Should I book the new disrupted trip as soon as it's available in case it gets booked up?

My second question is about using travel days between the Baltic cities. Last time i looked tickets weren't available through the interrail app and it said to 'book at stations'. I'm concerned that our individual intercity trains will be booked up by people using the Baltic through line and any tips on pre booking Vilnius to Riga and then- a few days later- Riga to Tallinn for the end of July would be really helpful

Thank you!

The general advice on reservations is to follow the advice on this page:

https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm

There indeed seem to be engineering works between Berlin and Frankfurt(Oder), so you can only book the EC to Poland from there. Best place to book is intercity.pl (€4); instructions on Seat61's page above. The DB planner still shows some regional trains from Berlin to Frankfurt(Oder) but they will also have replacement buses. The best is to use the replacement bus for the EC from Berlin directly to Frankfurt (no reservations in this bus).

The Rail Planner app can't book anything. It can only forward to some of of websites where you can book reservations, but it doesn't always offer the best or cheapest website. Please use Seat61's overview above. You'll find your routes covered. Also note that you want to book reservations, not tickets, since the pass is your ticket.

If you have problems booking a train, then please mention route, date and departure time.
