Using global pass (and buying seat reservations)

however it’s not allowing me to take train from Strasbougg to Basel sbb at 10:15am? Also do I need to make seat reservation on this leg?

November is still far away in railway terms in France, schedules won’t be loaded up yet. The TER-train Strasbourg-Basel SBB will eventually show up, you’ll probably see it by the end of the summer in the planners.

Yes, you just board whenever you want and sit where-ever you like, it works similar like a city bus.

You show the QR-code generated on the rail planner app upon inspection in the train. See this page under “getting ready to board the train” https://www.interrail.eu/en/interrail-passes/interrail-mobile-pass/getting-started

Every train you take, needs to be registered.

When do you want to travel, on which date ?

The train is probably a TER, these are not reservable. Just show up and find a free seat.

(I guess they mean 11th July...)

Indeed for that train simply log the journey on the app (as you always must do) and hop on. Enjoy, the seats are extremely comfortable haha :)
