I want to travel from Bari to Igoumenitsa by Superfast Ferries. As we all may know the Global and Greek islands pass holders are eligible to a free Ferry from Greece to Italy and vice-versa. However, when planning my trip and pressing “view train times” for this route it says “only by Greek islands pass”. Does anyone else have any experience with this route? Is it a trip planner problem or glitch or do I need to find another way to go to Greece?

With a global pass, the ferry is not free, since you need to pay for various supplements and charges that only apply to global passes, which effectively makes it a discounted fare. Only the Greek Islands pass makes the ferry free.
