Help with planning

I want to travel from London to Florence on 31st July 2026 and to return to London on the 8th August 2026. Is this something I can do using a pass or do I need to get separate tickets for different legs? It is very difficult from what I have seen to plan this trip using any service available in the UK. I am hoping this is due to my naivety as I would like to use rail for European travel if its easy.

You can do the Route with a pass, but that is not necessary the cheapest way.(Lots of expensive mandatory reservation and trains with limited seats for passholders)

Do you plan to do the whole journey from London to florence in 1 day?

Its at a minimum a 13:30 hour rail  journey. (via Paris and and Torino) and it looks like if anything goes wrong you will not arrive on the same day. (to be fair the connections are not tight)

OK thanks, I will check it out, to be honest I don't have to rush back, so as long as I get there fir the 1st then that will be fine
