Just looked at some Hostels and a bed in a 6-8 person dorm costs around 60-80€ per Person and night in most cities. Does anybody has the same experience and how can i save some €? sure prices will never get back to 20€ a night for a Hostel Bed but 80€ is somehow a lot😅

I find hostels in Barcelona in the middle of July for 40-50 EUR.
Hard to say if you don’t give your destinations!
There are a lot of large events this summer : Olympics, Euro, concerts, festivals and on top of that it’s peak season.
You should look at nearby cities : Utrecht for Amsterdam for example.

Venice, milano, nice, montpellier, barcelona, valencia and madrid. some nice Hostels cost 40-50€, which is fine but a good Hostel in Barcelona for example costs 60-80€
