How many trains can I take per travel day? I was thinking about going form Paris to Bruges and in the night to Brussels. Is that possible with only one travel day? Should I reserve with anticipation if I am traveling in May?

You can take as many trains as you please in one day.

To count as one day the last train must be scheduled to depart from where you board it before midnight.

You should book in advance if you wish to travel during one of the holiday weekends : Ascension and Whitsun.

There are 2 ways to get to Bruges :

- Eurostar to Brussels (27€, passholder quota -> book early) and then any IC train

- TGV to Lille-Flandres (usually 10€, rarely 20€ -> availability on the day) and then Lille - Kortrijk - Bruges = 30 min longer

I prefer the latter : cheaper and more flexible.
