Please, I’am struggling with the app. how can I book two trains in the same day? I want to go from Rome to Verona with a six hour stop in Florence.

Do I have to pick Verona as destination and then add the stop?

No, I’ll try to explain. On Rail Planner look one connection at a time:

  • search Rome - Florence
  • pick the (say) 09:10 train
  • click on “save journey”
  • link it to a trip
  • in the trips list, flick the grey switch (on travel day)

These steps can be done at any time prior to boarding the train.

Regarding mandatory seat reservations, best to book them through Rail Europe (no booking fees). See https://www.seat61.com/interrail-and-eurail-reservations.htm
