I have purchased Global Euro Pass and also purchased few reserved seats. However I am unable to create and save the itinerary under the Trip Name. Please help.

It is impossible to transfer seat reservations into the Rail Planner app, you must always show them separately (usually only if they are mandatory). Otherwise, it should be possible to create a trip in the Rail Planner and add journeys. You can add your pass later, it is not recommended to activate it in advance.

Do you mean the trip planner on the website or the planner/My Trip in the app?
In any case, planning is best done with a reliable planner, usually the national planners or bahn.com for international journeys.
