We are planning a trip to Lake Bled from London and are looking for ideas on routes and destinations en-route. We are new to interailing and any ides and tips would be warmly welcomed 😁 We are thinking about going in June and travelling for around a week in total

+8There’s a direct sleeper train from Stuttgart to Bled & Ljubljana, which is the quickest way to get there from the UK. (Eurostar to Paris, walk 10 minutes to Gare de l’Est for the TGV to Stuttgart.
This allows you to get all the way there in a single travel day.
Do you mean you have a week for the whole trip from London & back? If you want to spend a decent amount of time in Bled & Ljubljana, that doesn't allow you much time for stopping en-route, maybe a 24 hour stop somewhere in Austria or Munich?
