Hi travelers!

I'm about to go on my first interrail with friends and one of my concerns is what bag I should use.

I have 2 options;

1. A hiking backpack with waiststraps, opens at the top

2. A weekend bag without waiststraps, but opens like a suitcas

Both are around 40-50 liters

I am grateful for all kinds of help!

Number 1, a proper backpack. You'll regret number 2 if you have to walk more than a few minutes.

Agreeing with the first option as well. Easier manoeuvring with a hiking backpack of that size.
