I would like to take the INC 1962 train between Catania and Florence on January 10, 2026, but I don't find it available. That train appears in the schedule up to December 12, 2026, but not after that. Does anyone know if that train will appear later or if for some reason it won't run in January 2026? There was a recent schedule update, but this train still doesn't appear after December 12th.

This train should be running but the timetable isn't confirmed yet. Check again in a couple weeks.
Alternatively (since arrival in Florence is pretty early) you could consider either night train to Rome: 20:24 or 22:58 departure. Then have breakfast in Rome and take a 1h30 long high-speed train to Florence later. Though this will either require a second pass day + 13€ reservation or much better, a cheap 20-30€ ticket.
