So my girlfriend has a Discover EU pass while i have an Interrail pass. We want to sit close to each other in trains that require seat reservetion, however we cant form a group in the booking system. It says that there are different passes and cant be connected or put in a group. Does someone know a solution?

It might not be possible to always sit together but you may always politely ask other travellers onboard if they're willing to move.

Just book two ordinary seat reservations, and you’re good to go, always seated next or in front of each other.
Yes but for the Discover EU pass there are 4 free reservations if you are making the reservations through the interrail site if im correct, and it would be good to have that.
