Hi,

 

i was just looking through th timetable to look for reservations in June/July.  I know I can’t book until end of this month but when looking at French timetables it showed French train and told me I couldn’t book it just yet.

When looking from trains in Italy for the same period it either gives me “no results” or send me via france, germany and switzerland( lovely places but noton our schedule this year)

Can anyone let me know why this is and if the italian trains will show up closer to the time

Italian timetables are usually published very late. Maybe in April for some long-distance trains and end of May for regional services. They will appear first on the Trenitalia website, then on DB Navigator (German Railways app connected to the European database) and a week or two after on Interrail/Rail Planner.

However you can rely on the current ones for planning. Major changes are unlikely.
