Italy trains in August

Justin Pate

Hi All - Train travel in Italy from 13-23 August

There appear to be no trains, however I am wondering if its just due to the new timetable that will be released in June?

This is the only week (10 days) where no trains apart from Regional are available

Trenitalia is always late publishing timetables, especially for their night trains and regional trains.

Check regularly on www.trenitalia.com; that's where they will appear first.

Yes, for regional trains Trenitalia is now faster with publishing. But with long distance trains they need often more time. Because there can be works at the line and because Trenitalia is very slow with publishing their timetables.
